"Seen from outside, the Fisher is a huge gleaming sculpture set against a lovely rolling landscape. Whenever you visit, people are standing in front of it, gaping at this shiny object as if it had just plummeted from another galaxy. Perhaps aliens will emerge from it? With the addition of the Fisher Center at Bard, the Hudson River Valley is on its way to becoming one of the premier cultural destinations in the nation."
