Commemorating 40 years of Collecting
November 18 - January 30

Gallery Reception ~ Friday November 18 5:30-7:30pm

In celebration of the 40th anniversary of Wood Memorial Library & Museum, Wood is hosting a very special “FORTY YEARS OF COLLECTING” exhibit from November 18th through January 30, 2012. This exhibition features:  treasures from Wood’s archives, silver by Connecticut artisans on loan from the American Silver Museum, weathervanes on loan from Connecticut Landmarks’ Phelps-Hathaway House, watercolors by Edith Watson and 19th century samplers, oil paintings collected by Gerald Witkowski, opera artifacts and memorabilia loaned by Dr. Girvice Archer and fashion drawings by Dorothy Jones loaned by Kevin and Priscilla Clesowich.
