Brenda Baker of Old Lyme, CT. has been painting since 1978.
She has a B.A. in Education, an MS in Ed Art and has been an art educator for a number of years. She was recently elected to membership in the Connecticut Academy of Arts and Science.

Brenda Baker's Art concentrates on the interplay of color with pattern. She feels that Art should enhance the natural and reflect the rhythms and forms that we see in every day life.  The joy of color, expecially in flowers, sea scapes and textiles are her special subjects.

An artist reception will be held on Sunday, June 6 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Brenda will also host an artist workshop for Adults on Friday June 11th.
