Wood Memorial Library and Museum’s school programs provide field trips your students won’t soon forget. Our interactive, multidisciplinary programs will make the concepts introduced and developed in the classroom come alive in our hands-on learning environments. The Wood offers fall field trips focusing on Native American history in the Connecticut River Valley. Students learn the ways in which our region’s original residents lived, worked and played. Spring field trips include a Main Street walking tour where students learn the rich history of South Windsor and its place in the development of our nation. All schools are welcome and custom field trips are available.
